LeAnn earned her Master’s degree in counseling in psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School in Richfield, MN after obtaining her undergraduate degree in Psychology and criminal justice from Southwest Minnesota State University of Marshall, MN.
LeAnn utilizes an eclectic approach; meaning, she combines different aspects of therapeutic techniques to meet individuals and/or families where they are at. She likes to incorporate play therapy, art therapy, CBT, (not limited), and her professional experiences include office, in-home mental health, both public and private schools, group homes, and outpatient counseling.
Leann enjoys working with individuals and families within the clients community to strengthen, support, and encourage. LeAnn has more than eight (8) years of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in behaviors with children and adolescents. She also has experience working with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Fetal Alcohol syndrome, and parenting difficulties. LeAnn enjoys spending time with family, friends, reading, and educational public speaking. When time allows, her hobbies are outdoor activities, travel, and quiet time at the lake.
She believes that through encouragement, support and grace, everyone can strive through their challenges to find balance in their lives.
