Welcome to our new office

 

As of September 1, 2018 our Waconia location will be moving to our new address in the Waconia Exchange building:

Due to the overwhelming positive response from the Waconia and surrounding communities, Lighthouse Counseling Ltd has outgrown its current location.

We have chosen to move into a larger facility to better serve the growing needs of Marriages, Families, and Individuals seeking our services,

Over the last few months we have been working diligently on completing the remodeling of our new office building, which includes 4 offices and a Play Therapy room.  Here are some pictures of our progress:

These new resources have allowed us to expand our Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sand Tray Therapy, and parental awareness coaching (for youth).

Lisa Inman

Lisa received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University, her Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Crown College and her Autism Certificate through University of St. Thomas. Her professional experience includes working with a variety of individuals in primarily faith based mental health settings.

Rebecca completed a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University, VA, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Christian Studies at Crown College, MN. She has worked with adults in an Intensive Outpatient group setting, as well as college students, and adolescents. Using a holistic approach to counseling, Rebecca fits interventions from various theoretical approaches to the unique personality of the client. She believes that incremental changes over time in one’s thinking, habits, and behaviors, while attending to emotions that may arise in the process, will produce healing and growth. Rebecca is also fluent in Spanish, familiar with Hispanic culture, and has experience and interest in helping individuals navigate the unique challenges of cultural differences and adjustments.

Marie Riemer

Marie received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Crown College. She works with both children and adults and her experience includes working with children and adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral challenges, as well as working with persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Michelle earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families in a private practice setting. She works primarily with adults and older adolescents who are struggling with relationship issues, difficulties due to life transitions, anxiety, and depression.

Amy Noakes

Amy earned her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Denver Seminary, her Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Crown College. While at Denver Seminary, Amy received a certificate in Prepare and Enrich. Professionally, Amy has received training in DC 0-5 and Parent Psychotherapy with certification in Parent Child Interactive Therapy and Incredible Years.
